I am an experienced coach who works with people of all ages on a range of personal issues with the aim of understanding and thinking about present realities and finding positive ways forward. I also work in both private and public sectors delivering customised training programmes some of which have focussed on mediation, delegation, leadership and developing relational cultures.
As part of my practice, I draw upon Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), counselling theory and a range of received coaching models.
Previously a teacher, a senior school leader, teacher trainer and presenter for the former National College for School Leadership , I am now director of Ron Piper Coaching and Training.
I hold a first degree in English Literature, a Master’s in drama and a PGCE. Additionally, I have a post graduate certificate in coaching and mentoring together with NLP accreditations at practitioner, master, trainer and European coaching levels. I am an NOCN accredited Youth Coach and also have a Level 3 CPCAB counselling qualification.
